Amy Winehouse Pleads Not Guilty in CourtAmy Winehouse pleaded for innocence in court denying assaulting fan Sherene Flash at a society ball last September. The singer when questioned in court said, “no, no, no”. With a 15 minute hearing Winehouse’s recent assault case forward to the nest step in a London courthouse this morning. The much troubled singer pleaded for not guilty during the hearing.

Winehouse, who crooned “Rehab” reached the City of Westminster Magistrates Court in the morning. She flashed a low-cut floral frock that showed off her bra straps and tattoos with four-inch heels. The singer stumbled while entering the court room and kept on fiddling with her hair, hands and clothing, Press Association reported.

When the court asked the 25 year old singer how she was feeling, Winehouse reverted back by saying, “I’m all right, thanks”. She also spoke loudly and clearly to affirm her date of birth and her name, Amy Jade Civil, her married name. Sherene Flash, who Winehouse is alleged of hitting a punch in her eye, claimed that she was hit by the singer after she went up to her for a photo at London’s End of Summer Ball Sept. 26, 2008.

In regard to the case Amy Winehouse, he “Back to Black” singer, has been refused a visa to perform in the United States. The next trial date is fixed on July 23. Winehouse was given an unconditional bail by the court.
