Hollywood actress Natasha Richardson, who injured herself during a skiing accident, may be brain dead, according to reports.Sources have revealed that the `Parent Trap’ actress is brain dead, and is being transported back to New York.
Natasha met with an accident while skiing in Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, Canada, after which her condition deteriorated.
Her husband Liam Neeson, who was shooting when the accident occurred, immediately rushed to be by her side.
Natasha was seen heavily wrapped in blankets “in an intensive-care bed, tubes covering her face,” as she was put into ambulance in Montreal.
Liam Neeson sat beside her in the ambulance, and “looked extremely worried.”
“We know that she has had an accident but we really do not know any more details,” Fox news quoted one of Natasha’s relatives as saying.
“We are very concerned,” the relative added.
It has been revealed that Natasha fell on a beginner’’s trail during a ski lesson, and later reported not feeling well.
“She did not show any visible sign of injury, but the ski patrol followed strict procedures and brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor,” the Mont Tremblant spokesman said.
“An hour later she said she didn”t feel well. She had a headache, so we sent her to the hospital. There were no signs of impact and no blood, nothing,” the spokesman added.
