priyadarshan latest flick, ‘Khatta Meetha’ starring Akshay Kumar and south sensation Trisha Krishnan hit the theatre worldwide today. The premiere was attended by Who’s who of Bollywood but missing from the event was the main protagonist of the film, Akshay Kumar. Akki's absence was filled up by his wife Twinkle Khanna. Akshay Kumar missed the premiere as he was out of the town for some important assignments.
The celebrities who graced the event were Sajid Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan and their son Arhaan. Twinkle Khanna arrived with a friend. Also attended the premiere was Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Bobby Deol, Poonam Dhillon, Rajat Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor also turned up for the premiere.
Surprisingly, Shahrukh Khan who missed the premiere asked Asthavinayaka for a special screening of the film. He is in London shooting for ‘Ra 1
