Vidya Balan’s forthcoming ‘The Dirty Picture’ is based on the South Siren Silk Smitha. So, it was a welcome decision for her fans down South when the makers decided to dub the movie in Tamil and Telugu as well. There is no denying the fact that Vidya Balan has created sensational ripples with her bold makeover and the sizzling posters of the flick make it one of the most anticipated projects of the year.
Since Silk Smitha was a huge sensation in South Indian films, the audience down South would be able to relate to the film more easily than the Bollywood belt. Also, Vidya being from South herself adds more elements to the film being recognized by audiences down there. It has also been shot in Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad too.
As Vidya Balan moves South as Silk Smitha, December would definitely be more chilly this year!!
