‘London, Paris, New York’ makes superb business overseas!

Not in India but overseas, debutant director Anu Menon’s London, Paris, New York, seems to have won many hearts. The film stars Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead.

Middle East saw a collection of $112,000, while theaters in the US collected $53,535, on its opening weekend. Beating films like Band Baaja Baarat (25,000 pounds), Tanu Weds Manu (28,000 pounds) and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (30,000 pounds), London, Paris, New York collected approximately 32,538 pounds.

“‘London Paris New York’ is a small budget film that was targeted at a niche audience. We are happy that the film is being so well revived, especially by audiences it was made for – having kept the budget under control, we’ve managed to deliver on that front and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Vijay Singh,
