By coincidence, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were shooting their respective films at Mehboob studios when they bumped into each other. However, no cold shoulder was turned and no glowering glances cast or exchanged. What rather transpired had the onlookers transfixed.
Ranbir and Salman met up cordially, exchanged the greetings and Sallu invited Ranbir over for lunch at the studio itself. Then the two bonded over food, though away from the prying eyes of the onlookers. What they talked about is a matter of speculation and juicy fodder for rumour mills.

Ranbir Kapoor even did an item song for the Salman Khan-produced film Chillar Party, but the song did not feature in the film and was used only for promotional purpose.
