Many Bollywood stars in the past have promoted their sons and daughters in the industry and not only worked with them but also produced films to ensure that their children get established in the world of movies. Now add the name of Naseeruddin Shah to it. Though the veteran actor is not going to make a film for his children, Nasir is going be a part of a movie called Mantaan, in which even his younger son Vivaan will be seen in a major role.
Whereas Nasir will play the character of Karim Lala in the film, his son Vivaan will be seen in the role of young Haji Mastaan.
This will not be the first time when the team of father and son will feature together since the two were also a part of Saat Khoon Maaf. But this will be the first time Nasir and Vivaan will share the screen spare, as they did not have any scene together in the first film, which they were both a part of.
Reports suggest that the producer of Mastaan Sunil Bohra was so eager to sign both Nasir and Vivaan for the film that he went to the extent of deciding that if the father and son do not agree to be a part of this film, he will drop the project altogether.
Now since both Nasir and Vivaan have agreed to be a part of this film, Sunil is working on the screenplay of Mastaan in such a way that the two actors get some good scenes together in the film.
