As per the reports, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2, a sequel to the 2010 super hit film of the same name stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi and Imran Khan in lead roles. But Sonali is also playing a prominent role in the movie which was reportedly prepared especially for her.
"I will be part of 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2'. Its a great role. With the film it feels like I'm coming home since Shobha Kapoor has been Goldie's very close family friend," said Sonali.
Appreciating Ekta Kapoor, Sonali said that she is a creative genius and has an amazing story sense. She had worked with Milan before so it is very comfortable space.
Director Milan Luthria said, "I am thrilled to add another twist to the casting of 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2'. Sonali is not only gorgeous to look at but she is a terrific actress. She suits the role. My crew and I are super excited to offer her this platform."
Buzz is that the shooting for the film is likely to begin from August.
