Watch: Joker's 'I want fakht u' song gets leaked online

Filmmaker Shirish Kunder has been busy making the right noises for his upcoming film ‘Joker’, but it seems the director was caught off-the guard when a song from Akshay-Sonakshi starrer leaked online. Apparently, it’s the same item song in which hottie Chitrangada Singh is seen revisiting dancing diva Madhuri’s look and dance steps. Titled, ‘What the Fakht’, the song has gone viral online making the cast and crew of the film a little nervous. Farah Khan tweeted, “What the ±#¥k !!just found out that our Joker song has bn leaked on youtube!! Will get a heart attack 2day 4 sure!! (sic)” Echoing her sentiments, music composer Vishal Dadlani wrote, “Here's the link, @Thefarahkhan ! It's the whole song! Really shocking! JOKER LEAKED SONG - Kafirana(I want fakht u ).” Singer Sunidhi Chauhan who has crooned he number also expressed her displeasure. “@ShirishKunder@TheFarahKhan is this true??Our song from JOKER has been leaked?Can't believe it..We just recorded those lines the other dayL”. However, film’s director Shirish Kunder seems to be taking things in his stride as he didn’t refrain from adding his witty humour to his tweet. He wrote, “What the F@[±&!!! Song leaked?! I'm calling the Plumber.” Though, the video of the song hasn’t been leaked and it’s just the song that has gone viral online making the filmmaker pull a few strings and indulge in some damage control. After creating hue and cry about the same, Farah Khan tweeted that the song that has been leaked in an older version and is no more a part of the film. She wrote, “thanx vishal! But v had changed the "I want fakht u"2 "I want Just you"sometime ago!ths is the old version thts leaked. (Sic)” On talking about the leaked song Kaafiraana from Joker, Shirish clears, "This is an older version of the Kaafiraana song featuring Chitrangada Singh that we had recorded with Sunidhi Chauhan. After recording the song, we realised that this word might create unnecessary controversy which we didn't want around the film. This is a total family film and we immediately discarded the song." "Now, it has been leaked from somewhere - we are not sure of the sources as it could be from anywhere actually. But we are looking at taking action on this. Anyway in the film we don't have this rendition of the song - in the film the lyrics are I want just you and not Fakht you. So, actually this version is not even part of the film," concluded the director. Well, old version or new version, the netizens are definitely enjoying the peppy track.
