Salman Khan reveals why he isn’t getting married

Finally, Salman want to tye the knot

The fans of the handsome Bollywood superstar Salman Khan have been agog to know when the superstar plans to tie the knot. For the first time, the 46-year-old actor clears the air about his marriage plans and why he’s delaying it so much.

While appearing on Rajat Sharma’s India TV show 'Aap Ki Adalat', Salman Khan made the revelation: “I will think about marrying only after the courts give their verdicts. If the verdicts go against me, I will marry only after coming out of jail.”

Salman, as many would already know, is the accused in two legal cases: first, a blackbuck killing case dating back to 1999; secondly, the hit-and-run case outside a Mumbai bakery, dating back to 2002.

In fact, Salman Khan has been summoned by a magistrate court in Mumbai to appear before it on December 27 in the hit-and-run case. Incidentally, Dec 27 is also the actor’s birthday.
Talking more about the cases against him and the possibility of marriage, Salman Khan told Rajat Sharma, in a rather lighter vein: “I hope to be acquitted in both cases, but if I marry before the verdicts, will it be fair? Suppose, if there is a turn of events and I am sent to jail, and my wife has to come with our child to meet me in jail. Will it be fair?”

For years there have been calls from various quarters for Salman Khan to get married. His good friend Aamir Khan has been making repeated calls, quite publicly at that, for Salman to marry. Salman is not dating anyone after his breakup with Katrina Kaif.

Well, for now we know that Salman’s marital ambitions pivot on the verdicts of the courts.
