Superman is here; catch the trailer of Man of Steel

Time to cavort around, cinephiles; Superman is back. After literally teasing us with the teaser of Man of Steel, the film has got its full-length trailer and, in one word, it is breath-taking!

Right from the background score to the awesome visual spectacle offered, the trailer of Man of Steel is a winner. Not that we mind, but the video starts and ends on a dark note.

With films like 300 and Watchmen under his belt, Zack Snyder dons the director’s hat again with Man of Steel. Not to mention, when Christopher Nolan is the producer of a film, one can’t really expect things to go haywire.

In the trailer, the parents of Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman (Henry Cavill) are seen trying to protect the ‘secret powers’ of their adopted son from the world. Clarke apparently saves some passengers after a bus crashes and is recognised by a mother who says her son saw what Clarke did.

In his defence, Clarke Kent asks his father ‘What was I supposed to do? Just let them die?’ ‘Maybe’, replies the emotional father.

Apart from all the tragedies in Superman’s life, the trailer also showcases him flying! Flying is one of the coolest powers he possesses and the way he tears the sky is perhaps the best sequence of the trailer.
