Ayushmann in hilarious situations lifted from the film. Ayushmann Khurrana is seen as a theatre actor who believes in Kunaal Roy Kapur's acting skills despite him being a bad actor. The film revolves around Ayushmann Khuranna who one night meets Kunaal Roy Kapur who is troubled and lonely. It is the story of their bonding and friendship. It’s a comedy of errors where all of Ayushmann's acting skills are tested to the limit as he improvises his way through a hilarious real life drama.
Abhishek Bachchan will also be doing a cameo in the film for his friend, director Rohan Sippy.
The film is scheduled to release on April 12, 2013.Like his first film Vicky Donor, this time also Ayushmann Khurrana will be singing for Nautanki Saala. "Rohan, Bhushan and I have different tastes, but one song from me will definitely be a part of the film," Ayushmann told IANS.
"It's a love song again. I am a romantic person at heart, so yes... it's a love number once more," said Ayushmann, who composed around 20 songs during his college days", he added.
His first composition Paani Da Rang was a huge hit and retained its space among chartbusters for a long time.
