Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns stars Jimmy Shergill, Irrfan Khan, Mahie Gill and Soha Ali Khan in the lead roles, and will hit screens on March 8. The trailer of the film is out!
Not all stories end where they should -- BOOM -- starts the trailer of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. ‘Saheb’ Jimmy Shergill is handicapped but is as lethal as he was in the first part; ‘Biwi’ Mahie Gill is driven by the force to love, her weakness, but rues Ye hamesha mard hi kyun miltey hain hume..shaayar kyun nahi; and then there is the ‘Gangster’ Irrfan Khan -- the protector, the lover, and the destroyer.
The movie also introduces a new character -- the gorgeous Soha Ali Khan. The story of the film reveals Soha as the Chhoti bahu (second wife of Saheb); however, most of Soha’s scenes are with Irrfan Khan. Does he have some connection with Soha? Or, is it Mahie Gill who enters a secret liaison with this desi gangster? Don’t seek answers to these questions in the trailer. The premise of the sequel looks the same as the first part, but surely has more twists and turns.
The promo introduces the characters and whets your filmy appetite with heavy dialogues -- something cinegoers wish and want from Tigmanshu Dhulia’s films. Towards the end of the trailer, you notice Irrfan Khan, the puppeteer, in control of all the action in the film. Aap chahtey hain na jung ho..hogi..ghamasaan hogi -- proclaims the Gangster.
