The trailer begins with the voice of Aditya Roy Kapur, who plays a musician. “Pyaar, mohabbat, aashiqui sirf lafzon ke siva kuch nahi..par jab woh milee in lafzon ko maaine mil gaye..”. The ‘woh’ here is the bashful Shraddha Kapoor, a simple girl with the voice of a nightingale. She sings his own song better than him and wins him over.
He promises to make her a big star. He does. In the process, his own career goes for a toss. That’s when the cracks begin to appear in this Aashiqui.
The guy’s distraught. He smashes things around him, yells his frustration out and helplessly watches his love slipping away from him, slowly but steadily.
Will this story end on a sad note with a separation between the two lovers?
Set for a release on April 26, Aashiqui 2 is a musical journey of two lovers who go through love and hate, twists and turbulence, success and failure in their lives.
The movie is directed Mohit Suri while music is by Mithoon, Jeet Ganguli and Ankit Tiwari.
