Singing sensation Shreya Ghoshal turned 30 years of age on Wednesday.
Wishing Shreya on her special day, music director Shantanu Moitra tweeted: "Happy birthday @shreyaghoshal.wishing u lots of food lots of adda and lots of good music."
Music director Salim Merchant wished by posting: "Happy birthday @shreyaghoshal wish you more success and happiness! Best wishes for the album humnasheen too!"
Thanking all her friends, family and fans for their wishes, the birthday girl tweeted: "Thank u for the wishes. Thank u to my fraternity my frnds my family my fans. I feel blessed."
Shreya made an early start in her career when she won the 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contest as an adult.
Her Bollywood playback singing career commenced with the film 'Devdas', which won her numerous accolades including the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer along with Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
Since then, she has not only ruled the Bollywood female payback industry, but has also received many other awards.
She has sung in several languages like Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil.
Shreya was honored from the U.S. state of Ohio, wherein governor Ted Strickland declared June 26 as "Shreya Ghoshal Day".
Beside singing for films, she had also appeared on small screen as judges on reality shows such as 'Star Voice Of India-Chhote Ustaad', ' X Factor India' and was a captain on singing show 'Music Ka Maha Muqqabla'.
She has recently bagged a number of awards for her song "Sunn Raha Hai (Female)" from the film 'Aashiqui 2'.
