Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji’s wedding in Italy away from homeland doesn’t come as a surprise as the industry pretty much knew how Aditya loves to be away from media as much as possible. Thus, it was the groom’s decision to choose Italy as venue to avoid media glare. Meanwhile, bride Rani Mukerji has promised her close friends from the film industry a grand reception at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.
As per the sources, Aditya has always been camera shy thus he was not very keen in getting married to Rani in India. The reason was media. Adi has always kept low-profile thus, in order, to avoid media attention, he zeroed in on Italy as a place for wedding.
“The wedding took place in a lavish villa at countryside of Italy. It turned out to be a private function where the close family members and friends of the couple made their gracious presence,” reveals the source.
The pretty bride Rani has plans to throw a grand reception at Yash Raj Films studios something she had already promised to her close and selected friends from tinsel town.
