Recently, Gauahar Khan grabbed the headlines when she was publicly slapped by a man while she was hosting the grand finale of reality show, ‘India’s Raw Star’. The incident found a place in every channel, print, internet and television. Post the incident, Gauahar Khan called upon a press conference expressing her state of mind.
She also received moral support from every corner, her fans around the globe also consoled her with positive words. Gauahar said that she was shocked but not let the incident to down her morale. She has grown up to be stronger than before. Many celebrities extended support to Gauahar and slammed poor security arrangement at filmcity, where the incident took place.
The attacker was arrested by police and when he was interrogated he reasoned about slapping Gauahar Khan. He said that he slapped Gauahar because she was wearing short clothes and Muslim girls are not alllowed to wear short outfits.
Gauahar Khan’s fans condemned the incident on Twitter and other social media. Now before the incident fades away from the audiences’ mind, a Youtube user by the name Shashwat Singh, known as MonsterShanu on Youtube loaded a video on net surfacing why Gauahar was slapped in public. Ever since he has uploaded the video on net, the video went viral. It is highly watched and in no days, the video crossed 2 million views. This youtube user sarcastically lends Gauahar all the moral support and urged the boys of the present generation to respect the dignity of women.
