Akshara Haasan is said to have made a stunning debut in Shamitabh where she will seen with Kollywood’s hottest star Dhanush and Bollywood’s Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Her elder sister Shruti Haasan is already a successful actor in south India and in Mumbai as well. So here are three things she can learn from Shurti Haasan and make use in her career.
Choose the right scripts!
Kamal Haasan and Sarika have been parents who have given their daughters independence from an early age and even today they don’t interfere in script matters. Shruti has been able to pick out scripts that work for her and suit her personality as well. Right from her first film in Kollywood, 7 Aum Arivu, to her Tollywood superhit, Gabbar Singh, and her latest Poojai, Shruti has acted with all the top stars in the south. Even in Hindi, she has chosen projects where she was more than just a pretty face. She now has films with Mahesh Babu and Vijay in the south and Akshay Kumar and John Abraham in Bollywood. This is aknack that Akshara should also develop. She has got a fabulous debut with Shamitabh – now it’s upto her to choose the right projects.
Turn fashionista!
Shruti’s sense of style is fantastic and she wears some of the best designer outfits for events. She is, in fact, one of the best dressed south stars today. The pretty actress wears what suits her and doesn’t experiment too much with her hair. Her clothes and accessories, however, are some things she loves to experiment with. Akshara should get Shruti’s stylist – if she can – or get a stylist who will give Akshara a look that will make her fashion mags favourite poster girl. Currently, Akshara has been seen in mostly black outfits for her Shamitabh promotions. Being young and pretty, the actress sure could add colour and glam it up a little!
Ignore the gossip!
One attribute that Shruti can teach many actors is her ability to ignore gossip. She never bothers to clarify rumours and just goes about her life. That’s a wonderful quality to have (we wonder if she learnt this from her dad). Akshara should follow the same route! Rumours are part and parcel of every actor’s life and getting affected by them and clarifying will only lead to more talk. Like Shruti, she should let rumours slide by and just focus on her work.
