It’s Deepika Padukone’s birthday today and Tumbring joins millions of her fans in wishing the actress many happy returns of the day.
Deepika Padukone turns 29 today and she’s achieved much in that young age. She’s come far since her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2007 movie Om Shanti Om. She’s seen ups and downs in career, but achieved superlative stardom in 2013 with four blockbuster movies.
2014 was again good for Deepika. She won praise for her performance in Finding Fanny and had a pivotal role in Happy New Year. Both films did well at the box office. The year also saw Deepika making the headlines for taking on a national daily for running a tasteless story about her cleavage.
Poised for a new year, Deepika Padukone has much to look ahead. She’s got three movies lined up this year, all different from each other: Piku with Amitabh Bachchan, Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor and Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh.
