Recently, Farah Khan was announced as the host of an upcoming celebrity cooking show. And now, we’ve been told that just like Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Farah will also give away hampers to her celebrity guests.
However, the choreographer-director has gone a step ahead in the cost of her gifts.
A source close to Farah reveals, "She has started shooting for the episodes and actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Gautam Gulati have already shot their episodes. She is giving hampers that have several expensive goodies along with gadgets such as latest smartphones and tablets. The makers felt that it would be appropriate to give these goodies to all the celebrity guests who appear on the show. Each hamper costs about Rs 5 to Rs 7 lakh."
Apparently, it was Farah who initiated this idea. "No one is taking money to make these friendly appearances on the show. The hamper is just a small token of appreciation as both, the sponsors and I, felt that we should give them something to thank them for their warm gesture," she says.
