Saif’s legal woes don't look like they're about to end anytime soon. The Nawab of Pataudi has found himself at the centre of a legal property dispute in the state of Bhopal.
The disputed property is worth thousands of crores and was apparently inherited by Saif’s grandmother, Sajida Sultan, who was married to Iftikhar Ali Khan (the eighth Nawab of Pataudi).
The Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property has stated that the right successor to the property is Sajida’s elder sister Abida who had moved to Pakistan in 1950.
Sources have elaborated on the incident stating, “Saif has been busy proving that the Pataudis are successors to the erstwhile Bhopal State since last December.
He was also asked to submit a copy of the missing merger agreement between the last ruling Nawab and Indian Union.” We hope that the Nawab can rise up to his royal duties and find a way out of this one soon.
