SRK ‘Fan’ becomes first film to be shot at Madame Tussauds

The Bollywood presence at Madame Tussauds Museum in London is growing by the day. Just days after Katrina Kaif unveiled her wax statue, Shah Rukh Khan became the first film star to shoot on the premises of Madame Tussauds.

The museum generally doesn’t allow film shoots on its premises, but an exception was made for Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Fan'.

From what we hear the scenes shot also feature the various wax statues inside the museum.

Shah Rukh Khan confirmed on social media, “Thanx Madame Tussauds. Allowing us 2 shoot Fan with all ‘ur’ stars & our star Maneesh. Very gracious of u. 1st film to shot at ur premises.”

'Fan' was recently shot at the famous Blenheim Palace as well.

The film tells the story of a superstar and his lookalike obsessive fan. Shah Rukh Khan himself plays both roles.

'Fan' is being directed by Maneesh Sharma. It is made under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
