Alia Bhatt to play a drug addict!

Alia Bhatt is just four films old and has still managed to mark her presence in the Hindi film industry.

In her previous films the actress was seen playing all bubbly characters. Be it Shanaya Singhania a spoilt rich girl or be it Ananya Swaminathan a decent South Indian or be it Kavya Pratap Singh, she was always seen in the lively roles.

But in her upcoming movie 'Udta Punjab' she will be seen in a completely different avatar.

Humpty Sharma's dulhaniya will be seen playing the role of a 'drug addict' in her upcoming thriller flick. This is one of her never seen look in any of her films so far. The Bhatt girl will be seen playing a key role and is paired opposite Shahid Kapoor.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan who will be seen playing the character of a doctor.
