Salman Khan reveals first look of ‘Hero’ remake


Salman Khan has unveiled the first look of his upcoming production ‘Hero’ which is a remake of the Subhash Ghai directed 1983 hit film of the same name that starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri.

The remake ‘Hero’ will mark the debut of Sooraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty.

Along with the star kids, Salman will also make his debut as a producer with the film.

Athiya plays the role of Radha, the daughter of a police officer, while Sooraj’s character has been raised in the streets of Mumbai.

Salman posted the first look on Twitter and wrote, "Back off, HERO coming on 4th September @HeroTheFilm."

Besides producing, Salman will also make a special appearance in the film. The ‘Dabangg’ star will also be singing one of his songs for the film.

The other casts include Govinda, Vinod Khanna and Sharad Kelkar who also appeared in ‘1920: Evil Returns’.

The film is being jointly produced by Subhash Gahi’s Mukta Arts and Salman Khan Films. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film is slated to hit screens on September 4.
