Uttarakhand based Pawandeep Rajan was declared ‘The Voice India’ after almost three months of stiff competition from participants across India. It was truly a well deserved win as Pawan got us glued to our TV sets as he mesmerised his fans with his soulful voice and the choice of his songs.
Pawan (22) hails from a small town from Uttarakhand and is one of the youngest singers to have won this award. His perfect playback voice and versatility to perform on almost all genres, from Bollywood to classical, helped him win the coveted title. This 22-year-old is truly on seventh heaven after winning a whopping Rs 50 lakh cash prize from &TV, a car and a deal to record his first single with Universal.
Pawan has truly made his friends and family proud, along with singer Shaan, who has been a mentor and coach to this talented singer throughout the course of this show. He defeated Parampara Thakur, Sahil Solanki, Snigdhajit Bhowmik, Rishabh Chaturvedi, Vishva Shah, Deepesh Rahi and Sachet Tandon.
