Legendary macho actor Dharmendra turns 75 on December 08, 2010. He is regarded as the undisputed "Action King" of Hindi cinema having starred in numerous action blockbusters, and is considered a living legend. Husband of dream girl Hema Malini , he is father of notable actors - Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol and Aahna Deol.
Reportedly, for his 75 birthday, daughter Esha and Aahna planned a surprise party in Chennai. Having made his debut with 'Dil Bhi Tera, Hum Bhi Tere', he worked in several romantic black and white films in the early 1960s, hitting solo hero stardom with 'Phool Aur Patthar' (1966).
He was also the main lead of the all-time blockbuster film, 'Sholay' (1975) and then acted in numerous successful Bollywood films cutting across four decades. At the start of his career, he was usually cast as a romantic hero and later in the period from 1974 onwards as an action hero.
