Superstar Shahrukh Khan rules over the Bollywood industry along with the
hearts of numerous fans all around the world. He has proved his star
power on various occasions but more than anything he knows how to
reciprocate his fans' love and affection.
Recently, King Khan attended a bash hosted in his honour at the Hyatt in Chennai and the air conditioning at the posh luxury hotel had conked off. But this could not stop SRK to dance for the entire Tamil industry.
Yes, Shahrukh danced at the party and was drenched from head to toe.
"He danced wonderfully on stage and it looked like he had come out of the bath and forgotten to dry," said legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, who was also present at the party.
"It was every celebrity-bash's worst nightmare come true. The air conditioning at the hotel broke down. We were all left seething and simmering in the heat, helpless, angry and bitter. Shahrukh was fully and formally dressed in a suit for the occasion. His condition in the heat was indescribable. But look at this entertainer! He pulled off his coat, jumped on to the stage and danced, although he dripped sweat like he had just had a bath," added Haasan.
According to Haasan, SRK forgot all his discomfort and kept on dancing. "It was just Shahrukh Saab (that's what Kamal Haasan calls his junior colleague) and the stage. He is a natural-born entertainer," said the Vishwaroopam star.
"Shahrukh is a true Pathan. A man of his words. I owe him a big favour," said Kamal Haasan.
Shahrukh and Haasan share very cordial relation ever since they worked together in Hey Ram (2000). SRK did not charge any money for the movie, saying that the honour of working with the great Kama Haasan was reward enough.
