Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima delivered a baby girl yesterday afternoon in New Delhi. The newborn has been named Samara.
The heartthrob's lovely sister Riddhima became a proud mother.
Based in Delhi, Riddhima is married to Bharat Sahni.
Just six days younger to cousin Kareena Kapoor, Riddhima was born in September 1980.
The family friend added, "Rishi is a nana, Neetu a naani and Ranbir a maama! It still has to sink in."
The entire family was present at the hospital at the time of her delivery. Rishi's sister Rima Jain was also there.
Ranbir had always stated that he would make it a point to be with his sister when the bundle of joy would arrive.
Though many filmmakers made a queue outside her house, luring her into movies, the gorgeous and extremely well spoken daughter of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor chose a life away from films and limelight.
Indeed, a happy moment for the Kapoor family.
