When a Bollywood actor needs help to sort out issues, they know whose number to dial. They know that Salman Khan, the knight in shining armour will always come to their rescue. So when Mugdha Godse needed Percept Picture Company to clear her dues, she turned to the Bollywood hero for help.
Mughda was supposed to get a six lakh rupees cheque from the production house for her performance in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Jail’. “Everytime the actor called Percept Pictures, they would dilly-dally and tell her to call later. It has been more than a year that her payment was pending, so Mugdha decided to seek help,” says a source.
When Mugdha met Salman at a celebrity cricket match, she told him about her woes. Luckily, Percept’s head honcho Shailendra Singh was also there. “Salman had a quick word with him and Shailendra promised to look into the matter. Mugdha was in for a surprise when her cheque was delivered to her in just few hours after that,” adds the source. Surely, no one wants to rub Salman in a wrong way.
