One of the most awaited films of the year, ‘Bodyguard’ will have Kareena Kapoor in a complete Manish Malhotra ethnic attire. The film also stars Salman Khan in the lead. .
The very gorgeous Bebo will be seen donning bright colored kurtas, cocktail saris, teaming them with heavy exotic jewelry. We hear that Manish has imported the jewelery from across the country.
Says a source from the production set, “Kareena Kapoor goes ethnic in Bodyguard with mostly Indian traditional clothes. Most of the outfits, she will wear,are bright colors and have embroidered patch crochet and threadwork. She is looking like a million bucks in some of the outfits and can give any of her contemporaries a run for their money.”
Well, Kareena talks about her Bodyguard styling:
“A woman can be glamorous in any avatar – be it a bikini or a sari…To me looking the part and playing the character right is more important that just looking glamorous.”
Bodyguard has Bebo playing the role of a rich Punjabi college girl named Divya, whose family is from Patiala.
Salman Khan plays her bodyguard, Lovely Singh.
The film is due in theaters on August 31.
