Ra.One apes Batman?
The creative heads of a lot of production houses in Bollywood can’t seem to come up with something original. The poster of Shahrukh Khan’s much-vaunted project Ra.One seems a rip-off of the poster of a Batman movie. Check out the similarities for yourself.
Deja vu creeps in again! A lot of Bollywood movies lately have blatantly copied posters from Hollywood films or movies from the world cinema. The most shocking obviously was the poster of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara copied from Lords of Dogtown (see on the next page).
Now, the newly released poster of Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One bears a striking similarity to the poster of Christopher Nolan’s 2005 movie Batman Begins. In the poster, actor Christian Bale is seen holding an unconscious Katie Holmes in his arms. In Ra.One poster, Shahrukh Khan seen holding Kareena Kapoor in a similar pose.
Even the apocalyptic background and the light effects are similar.
