SRK returns as a baddie, from 'Baazigar' to 'Don' ...

Current generation fans of Shah Rukh Khan may not have been exposed as much to the likes of 'Baazigar' or 'Darr' as those who grew up on his films in the 90s. However for those who root for his negative characterisation in aforementioned films, there is a treat round the corner with 'Don 2' promising to bring back the mean and villainous Shah Rukh of the era gone by.

"Those who have had a dekko at the film are vouching for the fact that Shah Rukh would win audience heart with his negative act here," says a source, "This time around there would be much more villainy at display when compared to 'Don'. That's because when he worked on the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer, he was seen more as a simpleton Vijay and less as Don."

"Though it's a different matter that the concluding reel had established that Vijay was indeed Don, his double role characterisation meant that as a baddie, Shah Rukh couldn't go all the way," he continues, "However that won't be the case in 'Don 2' as he would stay on to be evil in the film."

When contacted, director Farhan Akhtar also acknowledged the same. He said, "Of course as Don, Shah Rukh is far meaner, wittier and interesting than the last film. We are ecstatic with the final results."

The film releases all over this Friday.
