Big B to start shooting for KBC 6

After his prolonged stay at the hospital because of his two abdominal surgeries, it wasn’t expected that the superstar Amitabh Bachchan will so soon think of resuming work. But with his undeterred zest, Big B is raring to return to action. He will soon start shooting for the promos of the new season of his superhit TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Yes, it’s happening! Amitabh Bachchan will host the sixth season of the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati that will go on air in mid 2012. But he will shoot for the promos first. Quizmaster and producer of KBC, Siddharth Basu has confirmed the news and told a daily, “Yes, Mr Bachchan will host the forthcoming season of KBC. I intend working with him on this show even for the seventh season.”

KBC is synonymous with Amitabh Bachchan; the actor signed a two-year contract with KBC in 2011. As a source says, people wondered whether he would be able to take up the assignment of hosting a daily television show after the two hernia surgeries. But now, Big B has confirmed with the broadcasters that he is game for the show which earned him so much fame and respect.

The veteran actor returned to his home from hospital on Feb 23. He was admitted to the Seven Hills Hospital on Feb 11 and had to undergo two abdominal surgeries, following which he complained of acute pain and was kept under observation. Now, Amitabh Bachchan is doing fine but is advised rest.
