Their relationship is a thing of the past, but their friendship is not. Maybe the couple does not believe in the theory advocated very famously in the cult Hollywood flick ‘When Harry Met Sally’, “Man and woman can never be friends!” Ranbir and Deepika are still the best of friends, thanks to Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming flick ‘Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani’, the shooting of which brought the ex-lovers back together, albeit professionally. But they did have a gala of a time on the sets that became the talk of the town. Now that the movie is in its post-production stages, Deepika was recently asked about her stint with Ranbir again. She handled the questions confidently and diplomatically.
Deepika revealed to a leading website that she and Ranbir are not that different in terms of being passionate about cinema. They are completely obsessed about everything associated with movies. And when enquired about working with the ex-boyfriend, she said that both of them have learnt to let bygones be bygones and hence they were pretty comfortable with each other.
Well, we wish we could read between the lines and give this story a vicious twist. But we cannot. Though, that does not mean that we are any less excited about the movie in question. It’ll be a treat to watch them work together again.
