I am the bigger Dabangg says Sanjay Dutt

After Salman Khan swept the audience away with the two instalments of his hit cop film franchise, Dabangg in 2010 and 2012, good friend Sanjay Dutt will be donning a similar avatar in the upcoming Zila Ghaziabad. The comparison was obvious. When asked if he is now going to outshine Salman with
the film, he says with a smile, “Salman is the smaller Dabangg and I am the bigger Dabangg.”

In this action film, Sanjay plays the role of a rural cop who takes control of the long-standing situation of internal gang wars in north India. The 53-year-old actor is excited to know that people still accept him as an action hero. While he insists that he wants to do more films in the genre, the actor seems to be finding it difficult to perform actions stunts at this age.

“It was a task to complete these edgy stunts. I had to also keep in mind a number of other things, such as fitness, diet, weather conditions etc,” says Sanjay. Nevertheless, the actor still proceeded to sign yet another action flick called Policegiri.

Zila Ghaziabad, is also in troubled waters, as of now. Locals of Ghaziabad have protested against the title, saying that it showed the region in the wrong light. The film, which is set to hit theatres on February 22, also stars Arshad Warsi, Vivek Oberoi and Minissha Lamba in pivotal roles.
