Mahesh Bhatt has got a role in Aashiqui 2!

Producer Mahesh Bhatt also will lend his voice to the film Aashiqui 2 which according to him is close to his heart.

Playing the role of lead Aditya Roy Kapur's father , Mahesh Bhatt will not make an appearance in the film but will be seen communicating with Aditya only via phone conversations.

Confirmng the news Mahesh Bhatt said, "I am playing the lead actor's (Aditya) father. But I am not acting in the film; you won't see me. I have given my voice for two scenes. He has a phone conversation with his dad and my voice can be heard."

Directed by Mohit Suri, Aashiqui 2 stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. T-Series & Vishesh Films musical drama Aashiqui 2 is scheduled to release on 26th April 2013.
