Salman Khan's new TV show faces first roadblock

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who will reportedly feature in a new reality show based on social causes, seems to be struggling a bit. The actor who makes things work easily in his favour is tasting sour end.

According to a leading tabloid the entertainment channel Colors that airs 'Bigg Boss' had initially approached Salman to add the new show to their programming but now they are no longer keen to air it.

The tabloid quoted a source as saying, "The tentative title of the show is 'Paanch Ka Punch' and it is a fun show that promises a lot of entertainment along with a strong social message. Having liked the concept, Salman has already given it his nod. Accordingly, Siddharth Basu's production house first approached the said channel. But they have now turned it down as they felt that Salman hosting another show on their channel would amount to an overdose for their audiences."

However when the tabloid contacted official spokesperson of Colors Anita Basu, she said, "We don't communicate on speculative articles. We aren't aware of any such thing."

The show, with charity as core cause, is said to bring together popular celebrities like Salman, filmmaker Karan Johar, cricketer Harbhajan Singh, singer Mika and actor Varun Dhawan.
