Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer Sooraj Barjatya film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo trailer was launched recently. And the makers have now unveiled their first song from this film’s album, Prem Leela. Like in Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bodyguard, where Salman had an entry number, PRDP will be no different. Himesh Reshammiya returns as the composer for Salman, and lending their vocals for this number are Aman Trikha and Vineet Singh and the lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil.
Salman Khan is playing himself and the actor we’re sure will manage to make his fans happy yet again with this song. Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya spoke about this special song for Salman and said, “I specially asked Himeshji to compose the song, Prem Leela for Salman Bhai. This song underlines the innocence and large heartedness of Prem. I’m completely smitten by the song and really glad with the way the song has turned out.”
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a story about Prem Dilwala (Salman Khan), an innocent guy who is a part of Ramleela and does stage plays on Lord Rama in the city of Ayodhya and a princess named Maithili (Sonam Kapoor). From what we hear the movie is a hatke romantic drama from the Barjatya stable.
The film brings back Salman Khan in his ready avatar and features Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher in prominent roles. The film will hit screens this Diwali and seems like Salman has a Navratri treat ready for his fans ahead of the festival.
