Former The Wonder Years childhood star Danica McKellar has married her longtime boyfriend this past weekend.Danica who famously played Fred Savage’s sweetheart Winnie Cooper on the hit 1980s TV show, married film and TV composer Mike Verta on Sunday at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club (near San Diego). McKellar, 34, and Verta, 36, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests, including the bride’s sister and maid of honor, Crystal McKella, who played Becky Slater on The Wonder Years.
The couple have dated for nearly 8 years. Winnie Danica is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, Math Doesn’t Suck, and Kiss My Math, which encourage and empower middle-school girls with mathematics know-how.
