Liam Neeson’s wife, British actress Natasha Richardson, is in a coma after a ski trip went wrong.Richardson fell during a ski lesson yesterday afternoon, in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. At first she said she felt fine, just a bit dizzy and asked to be taken to her room, refusing to see a doctor. Later in the afternoon, as her state deteriorated, someone at the ski resort called 911.
She was air-lifted to a Montreal hospital while her family was being contacted. Her husband, who was filming in Toronto, flew straight to Montreal, as well as a few family members. Already, there were rumors; first about coma, then about Natasha being brain-dead. Shortly after she was air-lifted again, this time to Lenox Hill Hospital, in New York, where rumors had us expect the worse.
According to TMZ, “as of 1:30 PM ET today, Natasha was taken off life support.”
The couple, married since 1994 has two sons, who are 12 and 13.
