The two time Oscar winner, Sean Penn, seems to have finally decided to act funny. He has accepted that he need not always portray himself as one of those Mr. Super Serious Dramatic Thespian on screen all the time. The actor, who recently won the Best Actor Academy Awards for his portrayal of Harvey Milk in the biopic Milk will surely make us laugh us to death with his comical performance.Sean Penn has been cast as Larry in the Farrelly brothers’ The Three Stooges. The actor has been a favorite pick of those serious Oscar-bait movies in the past. But now we are glad to see a new facet of Penn, although he is ranked among the top dramatic actors of Hollywood.
The Three Stooges is a comedy film by MGM. The film might also star Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro as the other two Stooges. The final negotiation with the former two actor are still in process. If things go fine as it is planned, The Three Stooges will hi screen in 2010.
