Popular actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia, who never openly admitted their romance and have maintained that they are 'good friends', would reportedly marry next year!
Though no official announcements have been made, the two made it quite apparent about their relationship at a recent awards function in Toronto. Riteish and Genelia walked hand in hand on the red carpet of the awards ceremony. Genelia's mother, who was present at the event, looked at her daughter and future son-in-law proudly.
Sources close to the couple stated that the two would have married much earlier since there had been no opposition from Ritiesh's family. But the only difficulty was that they were against Riteish marrying a Catholic girl and wanted him to marry someone from their own community.
It now seems that Riteish has finally been able to convince his family about Genelia, which explains why the couple is now more open about their relationship in the recent past.
