Actress Juhi Parmar wins Bigg Boss 5

TV actress Juhi Parmar is the Bigg Boss 5 winner. The Kumkum fame actress entered the Bigg Boss house 3 months ago along with the first 13 contestants, and in the end her patience made her Rs. 1 crore richer as she was declared winner among the five final contestants, including, Amar Upadhyay, Mahek Chahal, Siddharth Bhardwaj and Akashdeep Saigal.

The two hosts of Bigg Boss, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were entertaining as always. All the contestants, except Pooja Bedi, were at the finale.

This season of Bigg Boss was marred with numerous fights and accusations of favoritism. Juhi was patient through her stay in the hose over the period of 98 days, and although she had her share of disagreements, she was the most patient amongst the housemates. With this win, 31 year old Juhi Parmar has become the second female contestant to win the show.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were in a jolly mood and led a host of performances at the finale. A special performance by Malaika Arora added spice to the mix as she gyrated to ‘Chhaiya chhaiya’, ‘Chhammak chhallo’ and ‘Honth raseele’.

Actor Shakti Kapoor, the only male contestant to enter the house at the very start, danced with all the girls who had entered Bigg Boss 5. Season contestants Sunny Leone, Pooja Missra, transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Shonali performed as well. While item girl Rakhi Sawant danced to "Chikni chameli".

Imran Khan and Karan Johar made a special appearance at the finale to promote their upcoming film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

On exiting the house, Juhi Parmar was happy to see her husband, TV actor Sachin Shroff, her parents and her mother-in-law after completing 98 days in the house without being in contact with anything or anyone outside.

This brings to end the fifth edition of Bigg Boss, it is not yet known if the show will have Salman Khan's dum next season.
