Eureka, Eureka! You’ll probably need to watch this video twice to believe what you just saw! Raghu Ram, the bullying judge of MTV Roadies who mercilessly rejects contestants on his show, had tasted rejection himself in the first season of the singing reality show Indian Idol.
In the video, funnily, Raghu Ram is seen practicing some exercises (read physical and not vocal) before singing. He then begins singing Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo, which did not please the ears of the judges - Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik!
The judges unanimously rejected him, Anu Malik stating that he (Raghu) can never sing. Raghu Ram did not like the way Anu put his decision forward and said that “Aap ye baat tameez se bhi bol sakte hain.” Man, this statement had me in hysterics; the ever abusive and insulting Raghu Ram asking someone to be polite!
