Salim Khan called Shoojit Sircar to home and gave him one of his Filmfare trophies. The yesteryear hit scriptwriter even talked to the script writer of Vicky Donor. Shoojit explains that he couldn’t believe his ears when he heard Salim Khan’s voice on the phone. Shoojit says, “He said, ‘I saw your film with 10 women in my house and we all loved it. I don’t know how you made this film. I even spoke to your scriptwriter. Both of you have done a commendable job so I want to give you an award from my side’.”
Salim Khan expressed his awe to Shoojit saying that if this script was offered to him he would have turned it down because he couldn’t have handled such a sensitive subject. Vicky Donor deals with the issue of sperm donation. Never a film has been made on this topic in Bollywood.
