Salman usually has a quite birthday with his family in their farmhouse in Panvel. However, this year, the superstar will have to face a court hearing in the 2002 hit-and-run case dating back to 2002.
It is heard that Sallu has requested the authorities from making personal appearance in court and, if granted, he would like to spend the day with his family.
2012 has been a very good year for Salman Khan. Ek Tha Tiger, which released on Aug 15, became the highest grosser of the year and now, Dabangg 2 is racing towards the 100 crore mark.
The star also spoke about his wedding , at a recent TV show. He said, he will tie the knot only once all the legal cases against him is over.
“Suppose, if there is a turn of events and I am sent to jail, and my wife has to come with our child to meet me in jail. Will it be fair?” Salman joked.
Meanwhile, the actor ushered in his 47th birthday in the company of his family and friends on December 26.
He waved to his fans and shutterbugs from the balcony of his residence in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb.
