The first look of the film is out and it shows Sunny Deol posing in his boxers and slip-ons, with a lot of drapery or possibly a bedsheet wrapped around his hand, as if the man just hopped out of the bed for a photo op with a pretty young thing, played by Kangna Ranaut.
At the backdrop is obviously the cityscape of New York. The punchline says: “after a day he can’t remember, comes a night he will never forget.”
The story of I Love NY is set in the course of a day and a night on New Year’s eve in New York. It will have Sunny Deol showing his comic flair once again. Apart from comedy, Sunny also will do a little bit of action choreographed by Tinnu Verma.
I Love NY is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The film has been in the making for a long time. It was slated to release in January 2012, but the release was postponed and now the film will hit theatres on April 26, 2013.
It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, while its music is composed by Pritam.
