Bollywood's ace director Karan Johar has collaborated with an
experienced filmmaker Ekta Kapoor for a film which will feature the
serial kisser of Hindi cinema Emraan Hashmi and hot bod actress Kareena
Kapoor to serve a romantic drama to moviegoers.
The pairing is though unusual but the news comes straight from the horse's mouth! The piece of information has been shared by Kareena Kapoor Khan on her official twitter profile.
The tweet reads, "It's official! Kareena is starring in Dharma Production's Collaboration with Balaji with Emran Hashmi! Film takes off in September."
In another tweet, Kareena says, "The film starring Emran Hashmi and Kareena is a romantic drama produced by Karan Johar & Ekta Kapoor. What do you think of the pairing?;)"
It is also informed that Emran-Kareena project will be directed by debutante director Akshay Roy.
The romantic drama will go on floors in September.
The news has also been stamped by Girish Johar, head of acquisition and distribution, as he said, "Proud to share that the Dharma (Productions) and Balaji Motion Pictures joint venture stars Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor. (It goes) on floors in September 2013."
