With Bollywood's biggest grosser of Bollywood Ek Tha Tiger and highest satellite selling rights of Dabanng 2 to his credit and their continuing roaring performance at box office, the actor has maintained a low profile.
Recently quizzed about his per-episode-earnings from Big Boss 6, the admired show host, almost correcting figure quoted in reports to "Rs 7.75 Crore".
Taking a dig, he said, "I think it was Rs 7.75 Crore. Write that so people who read this will feel jealous. Say I'm getting Rs 7.75 Crore per episode, plus Rs 1 Crore for re-runs; then see their reactions."
Maintaining his humorous best, he said, "Think about it. People will be shocked and won't get work at the same price. Then all work, including theirs, will come to me. And I will do it for Rs 50 lakh, which is my price. We bargain with producers and channels depending on how badly we need the money."
