The dark and gritty trailer starts with Rishi Kapoor, who’s shown as the head of a family of policemen, and his family has two other cops: Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sikandar Kher. Then the audiences get to glimpse a dashing Jackie Shroff as Yashvardhan -- a businessman, but a criminal too. And to bring down the criminal, the law will have to think like a criminal.
Then Rishi Kapoor comes to the picture again, and tells someone about Aurangzeb -- Mughal badshaah jo gaddi ke khatir badshaah ko kaid kar le, aur dusron ko marwa de. Now, the mystery of Arjun Kapoor’s double role is revealed. If one (Ajay) is in Jackie Shroff’s gang, the other (Vishal) is from among the policemen, and thus follows swapping of the two. Who will be the winner in this war of law and crime played with deceit? Who will be the real Aurangzeb?
Directed by Atul Sabharwal and produced by Aditya Chopra, Aurangzeb is an intriguing and gripping drama. The film also stars Amrita Singh, Deepti Naval, Tanvi Azmi, Swara Bhaskar and also launches Sasha Aagha, daughter of singer-actress Salma Agha. The girl, wearing a black bikini, adds a sizzle to the trailer. She has also done a few steamy scenes with Arjun Kapoor.
